Keith McHenry co-founded Meals Not Bombs in Boston with seven mates in 1980. He loved his childhood dwelling on the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Shenandoah and a number of other different Nationwide Parks. Keith studied portray at Boston College and began a graphic design firm referred to as Brushfire Graphics.
He has recovered, cooked and shared meals with the hungry with Meals Not Bombs for over 37 years. Keith was arrested “for making a political assertion” by sharing vegan meals in San Francisco, spent a complete two years in jail and confronted 25 years to life in jail. He has written three books together with “Hungry for Peace – How one can assist finish poverty and struggle with Meals Not Bombs.” and “The Anarchist Cookbook.”
Keith lives in Santa Cruz, California. He enjoys tending his backyard, sharing meals with the hungry, sustaining one of many motion’s web sites and serving to coordinate logistics for Meals Not Bombs globally.
